About me
I was born and raised in Merced County and graduated from Atwater High School in 2000. For the first five years after graduation, I worked night-shift for Yosemite Wholesale (Savemart Supermarkets). I then chose to pursue my education. After 4 years of working by night and going to school by day, I earned my BS in Biology from CSU Stanislaus and later earned my Single Subject Teaching Credential.
My first teaching job was for Valley Community School through the Merced County Office of Education. After four years I applied for and was offered a Chemistry teaching position and Livingston High School. After two years, I came home to AHS.
When I'm not teaching or thinking about lessons, I enjoy spending time with my family as well as fixing almost anything I can get my hands on and build things, when I have time.
Education:
AA-University Studies Merced College 2007
BS-Biological Science CSU Stanislaus 2009
Cleared Single Subject Teaching Credential
CSU Stanislaus/MCOE
MA-Education-Still working on it
